SwissDrones is a global leading provider of aerial intelligence solutions for energy infrastructure, emergency & safety and environmental management. We develop, manufacture, and support uncrewed helicopter systems. Main fields of application include aerial surveillance, search & reconnaissance as well as inspection of far-stretching assets. SwissDrones’ uncrewed solutions are designed for the effective replacement of manned helicopter operations at reduced costs, significantly lowered carbon emissions, and with increased safety.We are looking for a Sales Associate (a) individual to be based in our Zurich or Buchs SG office.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support – Global

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and support preparation of customer quotes and proposals
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team and the Design Organization to define custom-specific solutions
  • Support contracting and invoicing processes
  • Support creation of customized sales presentations and marketing content
  • Assist in implementing and improving sales tools
  • Assist sales and marketing campaigns

Business Development – Europe

  • Execute Go-To-Market strategies for European markets in close collaboration with the Global Commercial Vice President
  • Generate a business footprint and close deals strategically
  • Shape and negotiate proposals and commercial terms
  • Along with the market development, establish and implement strategic account development plan and key account management approach

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or business, in aviation or a related technical field
  • Solid technical understanding of complex industrial products, preferably in aviation
  • Strong background and interest in the commercial & business development domain
  • 2 to 5 years’ work experience in business development/sales of complex products and solutions with corporate and/or public domain customers
  • Prior background from business and/or engineering or equivalent in aviation, UAV, electronics, robotic related industries desirable
  • Proficiency in English and German
  • Resourceful minded, a team player with a “I will get it done” attitude
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Knowledge of UAV regulations (for civil use and public safety) is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and beyond occasionally
