Job descriptionSearch, evaluate and integrate various data analysis tools to identify or categorize textile and polymer-relevant molecules andtheir degradation products in complex sample matrices.Conduct research aimed at determining the cytotoxicity of the identifi ed compounds and correlating the olfactorycharacteristics of a sample with the chromatographic data.Contribute to all aspects of the experimental pipeline (excluding instrument maintenance & operation), including processsamples, design experiments, analyse data, interpret experimental results, and summarise data for presentations and reportsSkills & experienceMaster or PhD in (Bio or Analytical) chemistry, Bioinformatics or other relevant scientific fieldExpertise in small molecules and/or protein-based omics pipelines (metabolomics, lipidomics, proteomics…)Proficiency in working with and building spectral libraries Experience in the use of identification & annotation methods for LC & GC MS dataAbility to assess the statistical validity of the generated resultsOptional skills & experienceExperience in evaluating the cytotoxicity of identified components based on existing data or through homology with structurally similar moleculesAbility to link chromatographic data to the olfactory properties of a sampleAbility to use AI-based techniques to identify correlations in analytical data, particularly for the identification of compounds or the determination of olfactory or cytotoxic characteristics of a sampleWe offerPermanent contractGroup insuranceHospitalization insuranceEco vouchersMeal vouchersCAO-90 BonusGrowth and development opportunities
