All the while building a successful career, with real purpose.Mölnlycke is now looking for a Production Manager to join our Production team at the Mikkeli Factory.Purpose of PositionIn this role you’ll oversee and manage the manufacturing operations of the Mepilex Border production area at the Mikkeli factory, ensuring that production adheres to agreed-upon plans and specifications, while complying with applicable laws, standards, and directives.As the Production Manager you are responsible for achieving both strategic and annual production targets set for the factory and continuously improving productivity, personnel competence, and the working environment to reach “World Class” production level.Your Growth and Development:

Key Accountabilities
- Health & Safety: Secure the health and safety of production personnel, ensuring a good working environment.
- Target Achievement: Communicate and achieve the strategic and annual production targets.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, directives, and standards (ISO9001, ISO13485, FDA QSR, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, MDD).
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Promote continuous improvement in both human resources and production processes.
- Human Resources: Ensure efficient and sufficient staffing levels in production, and continuously develop personnel competence.
- Industrialization of New Products: Organize a fast and efficient industrialization process for new products.
- New Equipment: Implement new machines or production lines flexibly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Production Efficiency: Ensure the effective and economical realization of production plans, meeting customer needs and driving continuous improvements in production methods and equipment.
- Maintenance Oversight: Provide oversight for preventive and repair maintenance, as well as hygiene and cleaning processes, collaborating with the maintenance teams to carry out corrective actions when necessary.
- Budgeting: Create and manage the annual production area budget, focusing on competitiveness and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need:
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Expertise in manufacturing, production, maintenance.
- Analytical & Negotiation Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations and negotiate effectively.
- Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles related to production budgeting and cost management.
- Experience: Proven experience in managerial assignments in production, with demonstrated success over a few years.
- Education: Academic degree in a technical field.
- Languages: Fluent in Finnish and English.
