Within our department, process engineers, project managers, purchasers, construction and installation managers, mechanical engineers, and project engineers with diverse backgrounds and experiences work together. With our tailored solutions, we help our clients meet regulatory requirements and remain competitive in their markets. We primarily work on projects within the markets of refining/petrochemicals, water treatment, energy, and forestry. Our methodology is based on PMbook, and we have a cost estimation methodology for investment projects.YOUR ROLE IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
In this position, you will be part of our global team of experts and work closely with clients, project members, the team leader, the market manager, and the department manager. Your primary task will be to manage COWI’s EPCm projects or other large, multidisciplinary projects at the client’s site and within their organization. Your tasks will encompass different project phases: planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing, with the aim of delivering projects according to the set schedule, budget, and quality.In your daily project management work, you will:

  • Follow applicable contracts and execute multidisciplinary projects
  • Communicate with the project’s various stakeholders
  • Plan time and resources
  • Manage economics, quality, safety, procurement, and scope
  • Handle the project’s risks and opportunities (R&O)

You also need to have the following:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in project management/technical education such as mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering
  • Experience with multidisciplinary EPC/EPCm projects with project organizations of at least 10 project members
  • Project management within process industrial facilities, alternatively energy or water facilities
  • Experience with detailed engineering
  • Excellent communicator and able to express yourself very well in both Swedish and English
  • Desirable if you have experience with contracting, international projects, or have worked abroad
  • Desirable if you have certification from PMI, IPMA, or Prince2
