Job description
We are seeking a skilled pathologist to join a dynamic team at a leading hospital in Telemark. The department is equipped with modern facilities and technology, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of biopsy and autopsy specimens.
- Provide accurate and timely diagnoses to support patient treatment plans.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other medical professionals to discuss and interpret diagnostic results.
- Participate in case discussions and provide expert opinions in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy in all diagnostic work.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pathology and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Specialist certification in pathology from an EU country.
- Authorization to practice as a medical doctor within the EU.
- Proficiency in English and motivation to learn Norwegian, supported by our free Norwegian language school.
- Experience in laboratory-based pathology work.
