Job description

In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Inside Sales for your designated region and be responsible for several key areas:

  • Forecasting and Training: You will be accountable for weekly forecasting and training, actively providing support, coaching, and feedback to your team on the ground.
  • Hiring and Development: You will be directly involved in hiring, coaching, and developing the SDR team, helping them master essential skills in sales development, including cold-calling, understanding our ideal customer profiles and personas, and facilitating discovery calls to secure qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team.
  • Team Management: You will manage the day-to-day activities of the SDR team, including live call coaching and mentoring, staying on top of the team’s pipeline, and monitoring key metrics and conversion rates.
  • Process Improvement: You will identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance our processes, aiming to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Project Management: You will manage and own team and individual projects, ensuring optimal execution and adoption relevant to the team’s success.
  • Business Development: You will contribute to identifying new business opportunities and market segments for the SDR team to explore, developing playbooks, talk tracks, and email templates in collaboration with the team lead or enablement team, depending on the organizational structure.
  • Career Development: You will conduct personal and career development discussions to groom and prepare high-performing SDRs for the next steps in their sales careers.

Your leadership will be crucial in driving team performance and achieving sales goals while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Success: A demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding targets in a sales role, showcasing your ability to drive results.
  • Team Management Experience: At least 2 years of experience managing a Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, with a focus on coaching and developing talent.
  • Charismatic Leadership: A natural leader who is both charismatic and a team player, possessing the passion and ability to inspire your direct reports and those around you.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strongly data and metrics-driven, with a keen understanding of the key numbers that drive sales activity and productivity.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ready to tackle any challenge or problem, regardless of size, with a solution-focused approach.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Experience working with Salesforce, including the ability to utilize it at a basic level for pulling key reports and creating dashboards.
