Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Solution Architect – Mobile to lead the technical vision and architecture of our mobile application solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our mobile applications for iOS and Android meet the highest standards of scalability, security, and maintainability.Main responsibilities:

• Lead the technical direction and architecture for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Design and oversee the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing mobile applications using best practices and industry standards.
• Evaluate and potentially migrate mobile applications to cross-platform development tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed architectural changes.
• Select and implement appropriate technologies, focusing on performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Mentor and guide senior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mobile development and advocate for their strategic adoption.
• Participate in code reviews, technical audits, and design reviews, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvements.
• Document technical decisions, architecture diagrams, and API specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and conduct root cause analyses.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of business needs.
• Participate in the Architecture Board decision-making process and drive architectural change approvals.

Required skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a mobile software architect or senior mobile developer.
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile development frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java) and related technologies (e.g., APIs, databases).
• Experience with cross-platform development tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Knowledge of Azure services (compute, analytics, databases, storage, DevOps, networking, identity, and security).
• Experience with multi-module Spring Boot applications (Java language).
• Familiarity with the Maven build platform.
• Experience with container services/solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps portal (repository, CI/CD).
• Knowledge of Sonarqube for code quality as part of CI processes.
