Position: Aircraft Warehouse/Stock Operative
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: East Midlands Airport
Salary: £24,367.20
Shift Pattern: Days – Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts starting from 06:00amPLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check) if you are to be successful for this position.No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Packing and making of crew catering for Aircraft
- Helping out the cleaning of the aircraft.
- Taking in of deliveries of catering and cleaning goods
- Sending in of stock orders to site admin aswell as carrying out stock counts
- Completing catering paperwork and aswell as printing and reading of the catering orders
- Loading catering into Crew room
- Working in a safe manner in accordance with HACCP regulations
- Ability to work quickly and to meet tight deadline
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Takes pride in their work
- Previous WAREHOUSE experience is needed
- Experience in Stock Management is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation is preferred
- Attend a medical
- MUST Hold a full UK driving licence
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
- You will need a minimum of 3 years UK address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- Full UK Driving license
- To obtain a full airside ID
