Duties
- Manage the adherence to the original promise date agreed at order acceptance
- Root cause analysis for any changes to Material Availability Date (MAD), capturing impacts to OTD.•
- Overall responsibility for operational trade and compliance ensuring all relevant documentation (EUCs/Export licenses/Import Permits/Credit Terms) are in position before the equipment is ready to ship.
- Primary Co-ordination of customer Sales order management of UK supplying plant.
- Manage timely creation of order Confirmation and release to production.
- Ensure up front order information check lists are maintained in advance of order being loaded to SAP with MAD.
- Working in partnership with the planning team to ensure successful execution of production plan.
- Working with Inter company stake holders to Update Sales orders in SAP in the event of changes.
- Keep Customers and Sales managers aware of any changes / delays in delivery dates
- Prepare and distribute quotations for products and service activity.
- Manage Order book updates to effectively track progress of Order status, and use as means of taking actions and escalations
- Report weekly performance at Tier 2 review for Order Management Metrics with the support of Power BI tools.
- Report on monthly OTD performance, summarizing data from week on week data analysis.
About you
- Some knowledge of ERP systems is desirable, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power point and Excel
- Great People Skills, being able to effectively communicate to stake holders.
- Energetic, results oriented, driven individual, that is able to learn and adapt very quickly to change.
- Experience of working in a SIOP driven business, being previously from Supply Chain background,
- An understanding of the Operational Trade and Compliance laws that govern the business
- Self-motivated, pro-active, punctual, and shows attention to detail.
- Understanding of Material Requirements Planning and the levers that drive the business
- Value analytical skills that support root cause analysis and data management for reporting and escalations.
- Exceptional Organizational skills are a must.
