As a legal or licensing trainee, you will work part- to full-time, around 3-5 days a week, for a fixed term of 12 months. The position is based at Nokia Technologies’ headquarters in Karaportti, Espoo. This has enabled me to challenge myself, develop my skills, and progress in my career.” – Teemu Itälä, Director, Licensing Excellence, Nokia TechnologiesAs a legal trainee you will assist Nokia Technologies’ legal professionals in various legal and contractual matters relating to, for example, non-disclosure agreements, different types of IP license agreements, assignments and transactions, as well as consultancy, purchasing and R&D agreements. In addition, during your traineeship, you will have the chance to assist legal professionals in either matters relating to open-source software, or legal matters related to Nokia’s patent portfolio management.As a licensing trainee you will work as a junior negotiator in patent licensing negotiations and communicate with licensees regarding various contractual matters.
