Our product is the Global Order-to-Delivery tool, used by NSC and Dealers across all Volvo markets. It provides capabilities for pipeline management and control, commercial fleet order management, and NSC/Dealer reporting. The system also connects Dealers and NSC to VCC’s manufacturing, logistics back-end systems, and invoicing processes. Additionally, it supports order capturing and management from both internal and external applications through various integrations.
We are currently in a transformation phase, with our primary focus on integrating with logistics back-end systems. This integration will be developed using the latest Java Spring Boot framework, designed as a collection of event-driven services leveraging Kafka. What you’ll do
You will be innovating our user experience with a focus on building backend services primarily using REST APIs. We use mainly Java and SpringBoot to set up services.
We also use Kibana and Grafana for our dashboards. We deploy our applications in Kubernetes and AWS, using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jaeger, and Prometheus, among others.
We use Kafka as our event streaming platform. You will work together with quality engineers as part of a cross-functional team. Your main focus will be to service and enrich our customer’s experience from order creation to delivery and longterm ownership. You and your skills
