As a Mobile Engineer you will be primarily responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and support of the tools to build our Mobile applications, as well as mentoring other team members.
- Design, develop and maintain large-scale, visually appealing, modular applications.
- Communicate effectively with your team on domain, design, coding, and architectural approaches
- Help determine scope and requirements for new products and enhancements to existing products.
- Author and curate technical documentation to support delivery, maintenance, adoption (i.e. technical requirements, user guides, etc.)
- Design and develop automated deployment and maintenance mechanisms
- Prepare for and provide regular demonstrations on approaches and deliverables within and without the engineering team
- Share and receive insights, interacting with team members towards a common goal
- Continuously test and evaluate application performance to help ensure the best possible performance, quality, responsiveness, and stability

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or significant professional experience
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and deploying React Native apps on iOS/Android (Senior level experience preferred)
- Experience working with Typescript preferred
- Experience working with Restful APIs
- Experience working with Version Control in a multi-user environment like Git: familiarity with merging, branching, and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with distribution of apps to testers through TestFlight or other platforms
- Knowledge of, and practical experience with, design patterns such as MVC
- Experience building and deploying iOS/Android apps
- Experience writing native applications in Swift/Kotlin preferred
- Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete assigned tasks, manage time and priorities, maintain constant team communication
