Job description
Hartley People Recruitment are seeking a reliable and efficient Legal Secretary to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law and possess excellent organisational and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, typing, and filing legal documents and correspondence.
- Ensuring internal and external parties are kept up to date with the matters.
- Assisting Solicitors with ad hoc duties as required.
- Organising diaries, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings.
- Audio typing from digital dictation
- Transcribing interviews
- Conducting legal research
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, with a preference for experience in family law
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and management
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Proficiency in legal software and office technology
