The unit is responsible for: methodology & maintenance of the group-wide Greenhouse Gas emissions Calculation of Erste Group’s financed portfolio (so-called Carbon Footprint Calculation – CFC); portfolio-based Decarbonization modelling & target setting; governance, development and execution of related processes. We are contributing to Erste Group’s Net Zero targets achievement. • Monitoring and analysis of the monthly processing of the Carbon Footprint Calculation
• Reporting and supporting business units and other stakeholders with understanding of the current Carbon Footprint portfolio / client view
• Active further development of the group-wide solution Carbon Footprint Calculation in collaboration with colleagues from IT – in alignment within the team and across the risk divisions / business units
• Enabling proper tracking of the business initiatives, reflecting them and portfolio developments in the Carbon Footprint Calculation
• Supporting with adjustments / regular re-baselining of the decarbonization models

Your Background

• Completed studies and at least 3 years of experience in risk management (credit, market, liquidity) or another relevant area (e.g. ALM, controlling, reporting)
• Digital competence in MS Excel, Word, Power Point; Knowledge of SQL, SAS, Tableau, Python or similar is an advantage
• You enjoy working in a team, acting independently and proactively looking for solutions
• Fluent in English; German skills of advantage

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 43.554,– gross per year. But this is just a formality – we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
