Job Title: Business Analyst – Functional & Technical RequirementsLocation: GothenburgAbout Us: Our team is responsible for developing cutting-edge In-vehicle Infotainment systems, including head units, Android automotive platforms, software applications, radios, amplifiers, and speakers. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Scrum team, collaborating closely with developers and the Product Owner to drive both functional and technical solutions.Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role within a Scrum team, working alongside developers, testers, and the Product Owner to refine and deliver features that align with business goals. You will gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements, serving as a vital connection between product vision and technical implementation.Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine functional and technical requirements, breaking down high-level needs into clear user stories.
- Functional Specification Development: Translate business needs into detailed specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Technical Requirement Alignment: Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team to ensure technical requirements are clear and feasible.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Scrum team, ensuring transparent communication on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Solution Design & Validation: Work with the Product Owner to design user-centric solutions and ensure functional requirements align with technical capabilities.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
- Quality Assurance Support: Assist in developing test cases and participate in testing to validate features against requirements.
- Scrum Team Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and support the development team in refining the product backlog.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Background as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Functional Analyst in a software development environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Agile Mindset & Scrum Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hands-on experience in a Scrum team setting.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven experience working closely with development teams and Product Owners.
- Technical & Functional Expertise: Understanding of software development processes to bridge functional needs with technical constraints.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex business needs into actionable user stories.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying details to diverse audiences.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Commitment to enhancing user experience and delivering value to end-users.
- Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and proactively address needs within the Scrum team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with System Weaver, Jira, Confluence, or other agile project management tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the automotive industry and relevant standards or regulations.
- Certifications: CSPO, CBAP, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages and software architecture for better communication with the development team.
