We celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and are open to discuss flexible work options to help you balance your work and home life.Join the Close Brothers Operational Risk team where you will utilise strong quantitative analysis, stakeholder management and communication skills to deliver operational risk reports and support delivery of the operational risk team’s objectives.Working as part of the Operational Risk team, our ideal team member will have previous experience in Operational Risk with excellent communication skills.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Head of Governance and Reporting and Operational Risk Managers in embedding the Operational Risk Framework across the Group’s businesses
- Core framework activities include reporting against risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk event management
- Support on the delivery of regulatory reporting submissions such as ICAAP and Co-Rep
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Group’s operational risk management system, and where required, support risk management SMEs in their use of it
- Engage with the Operational Risk Analyst to support the development and delivery of operational risk MI insights
- Support the team’s annual plan for Pillar II operational risk capital calculation, , creation and distribution relevant operational risk MI and coordination of workshops and challenge sessions with risk stakeholders
- Engage with senior management to aid them in meeting their responsibility for identifying and managing operational risk, providing recommendations regarding mitigation as necessary
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
- You have experience in one or more domains of operational risk, such as IT, information security, process optimisation, fraud management
- You have strong data analysis skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- You have knowledge of risk management principles
- You have excellent listening, verbal, written and communication skills
- You are able to build strong relationships throughout the organisation
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
- Have experience in one or more domains of operational risk and controls management
- Have prior financial services industry experience
