Skyways Technics A/S is a Danish MRO focused on the maintenance of regional aircraft and components. We strive to constantly meet the customer’s requirements and maintain Skyways Technics A/S’ position as the preferred maintenance provider.We are looking for new Sheet Metal Technician colleagues to join us as soon as possible and take an important role as responsible for Part 145 in our facilities in Billund and Sønderborg, Denmark.Responsibilities:· Performing aircraft and or component metallic structure inspection and assessment tasks, by ensuring that all maintenance steps or inspections are carried out at the required standards and raising non-routine/defect cards for the defects related to the tasks he is assigned. This concerns parts from aircraft in maintenance, modification, and Service Bulletins, as well as components repaired on the shop level as an OEM service partner, with expertise in doors, leading edges, steps, and flight controls.· Perform all types of metallic repairs including standard methods as well as metal-to-metal bonding, metal-to-composite bonding, and replacement of sub-parts and accessories.· As an integral team member, working in close cooperation with your colleagues, from other internal and worldwide departments to achieve a common goal on-site or worldwide.· Ensuring that only effective and current maintenance data is used for maintenance instructions and that all applicable maintenance steps are accomplished for the assigned job.· Paying more attention to critical/complex maintenance tasks and always considering safety in his/her work.· Working under company procedures, giving due consideration to Human Factors philosophy, using only correctly maintained and uniquely identified personal tooling, company tooling, and calibrated test equipment.· Ensuring that the organization’s procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance tasks and filling out the maintenance records for the assigned job.· Ensuring that required serviceable tools and materials are used for the accomplishment of the assigned maintenance tasks as required by effective current maintenance data.· Ensuring that only serviceable components with appropriate documentation are installed on the aircraft for the assigned maintenance task.· Following procedures for task/shift handover to ensure effective communication.· Maintaining standard engineering practices within the hangar/workshop, such as accurately completing task cards, and general hangar/workshop husbandry, as well as ensuring workplace cleanliness and taking active measures to prevent FOD.· Willing to travel between SGD and BLL facilities if required, with company-provided transportation.Qualifications & Minimum Requirements:· Knowledge/education within the sheet metal/fabrication (aviation) industry.· Fluent in English, oral and written.· Able to work structured, autonomously, and good at decision-making.· Quality conscious.· User of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general IT literacy.· Ability to obtain a permit to live and work in Denmark.· Ability to obtain an Airport pass.· Hold a valid driver’s license.Desired Requirements:

  • +2 years of experience in a Part 145 environment
  • In addition to the minimum requirements (knowledge/education within the sheet metal/fabrication industry), willing to do aircraft structure training as required to fulfill the role. This training will be provided by the company as onsite training and external training courses.
