On behalf of Melbye Group, we are seeking two business-oriented and strategic Group Development Project Managers with a proactive mindset and a strong ability to execute and deliver results. Melbye Group is a family-owned leader in critical sustainable infrastructure solutions for the energy, telecom, fiber and installation markets, operating across the Nordics and the UK. The company is expecting strong growth, and these roles will play a central role in driving profitability, future group development, business expansion, market positioning and operational scalability.The Group Development Project Managers will lead key projects across the Nordics, the UK, and other global operations, and will work closely with the top management and other critical group functions. You will have office space at one of the locations in the Nordics (Skedsmokorset, Norway – Jönköping or Gothenburg, Sweden or Helsinki, Finland).As Group Development Project Manager you will:

  • Execute strategic initiatives in close collaboration with the Group CEO, top management, and key partners, focusing on growth, market positioning and/or internal improvements
  • Provide and present analytical and strategic recommendations as decision materials for the CEO, senior management and the Board
  • Support business development and potential merger and acquisitions, including CDD, candidate evaluation and integration efforts
  • Strengthening strategic and operational competitiveness across the value chain, including sales, delivery, after-sales, strategic positioning and relationship management
  • Utilizing new technology and AI tools to drive the development of efficiency and competitiveness
  • Proactively drive development initiatives beyond assigned projects

Qualifications and personal skills:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or other relevant degrees
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably from management consulting with experience in retail, industry, and B2B companies from a leading international firm
  • Solid project management experience within strategy, change management and transformations
  • Skilled at initiating and leading cross-company initiatives, maintaining timelines and managing risks
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written, in Norwegian/Swedish and English
  • Relationship-oriented and capable of delivering results independently and in teams
  • Hands on, result-oriented, business-driven and proactive
