Job description
An Electrical Controls Engineer is required to join a leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be managing porjects designing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments and facilities.
- Design and develop new control systems.
- Test, maintain and modify existing systems.
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to evaluate and improve electrical systems.
- Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work in collaboration with manufacturers, operational staff, suppliers and customers.
- Provide advice and consultancy support to colleagues and clients.
- Manage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating work.
Salary; £45000 – £55,000Desirable experience; Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens or Allen Bradley ProgramsA successful Electrical Controls Engineer should have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in control system design and application.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
