Join us at ib Vogt, a leading solar and BESS developer with over 20 years of global experience! You will play a key role in developing solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Sweden, making a direct impact on the growth of renewable energy in the region. Our holistic approach covers every stage from site acquisition to grid connection, and you’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Join our growing team and help make a difference in the renewable energy landscape of Sweden.Key tasks

  • Manage and coordinate the development of greenfield and brownfield projects from land acquisition through to financial close
  • Manage and oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Collaborate with external advisors to apply for and secure permits required for land-use planning
  • Plan and coordinate grid connections with TSO/DSO, internal grid teams, and external advisors
  • Drive communication with internal teams (e.g., portfolio management, engineering, legal) and external stakeholders, including municipalities, landowner, authorities, and advisors
  • Provide support to your team, offering guidance and a helping hand when needed to ensure smooth project execution

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in solar, BESS and/or wind project development
  • Strong project management skills , including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
  • Experience in land acquisition, land-use planning, and/or grid connection design
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills
  • Readiness and ability to travel in Sweden and occasionally internationally
  • Motivation to learn new things and go outside of your comfort zone
  • Experience of working in a fast growing, start-up environment is a plus
  • Fluent Swedish and English language skills
