Broadgate has partnered with a regulated crypto bank in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel in Zug, Switzerland.As Senior Legal Counsel, you will:Provide proactive legal and regulatory advice to senior management and business units, coordinating with outside counsel when necessary.Draft, negotiate, and structure legal documents, including client and third-party agreements in the crypto space.Lead legal and regulatory initiatives and corporate matters.Advise on legal aspects of innovative products and services.Draft and maintain legal directives, agreements, and marketing materials.Monitor legal/regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.Deliver legal assessments and presentations to senior management.Conduct internal training on legal and regulatory issues.Collaborate with the Compliance department on cross-border and other legal matters.Advise stakeholders on legal risks and compliance impacts.Contribute to regulatory communications, audits, litigation, and ad-hoc requests.Requirements:Master of Law from a Swiss University, admission to the (Swiss) bar (additional education such as an LL.M. is an asset).Experience of at least 5 years with a law firm, big four/consulting, or a bank, in particular in banking law, financial regulation and crypto.
