This role may be the perfect fit for you.Regional Sales ManagerNorth Region (Including Scotland & Ireland)Package: Competitive basic depending on experience + uncapped commission, Company Car, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays & healthcare scheme.Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a market leader within machinery manufacturing who are currently hiring for a Regional Sales Manager to join their North Region reporting directly into the MD. 80% of the role is based within the UK across the M1/M62/M6 corridor so the ideal candidate will be based in the North of England.The role:You will be responsible for developing & delivering a sales strategy with both existing and new customers within a defined territory, being accountable for your own sales budget and %GM contribution.Ensure all product lines are promoted to customers using opportunities to upsell products and cross-sell when possible.Actively seek out business development opportunities’ and plan your own diary with customer meetings, expos and business developmentWork closely with the wider business in the sales and service of contracts and spare partsProvide a high level of service to all customers, technical teams are on hand to support you however you need to be motivated to learn the product baseTo build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities with new and customers, in order to ensure a steady stream of Sales Orders across all products.Manage and continually increase opportunity Pipeline by executing a comprehensive and robust new business development and sales penetration plan that covers all products.Attendance at exhibitions, both within the UK and overseas is necessary, along with occasional ‘out of hours’ working to represent the business and develop sales leads for the business.Maintain in depth knowledge and awareness of competitor activities in the marketplace and report back new intelligence information to the business.You will be responsible to provide concise commercial reports on a monthly basis to the Senior Management Team (SMT) reporting on turnover and %GM YTD, accurate sales forecasting of order intake and summary of activity in the field.What skills and experience are we looking to see?Proven sales experience ideally within capital machinery sales however someone with a strong sales background and the ability to learn technical products may be consideredTime served engineering apprentice or degree level graduate with a technical or engineering background is highly beneficialStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly sell features and benefitsFlexibility when requiredSomeone who is self-motivated and committed to learning new products and technical skillsBe a consultative character, aiming to understand your clients business enabling you to forecast any upcoming requirementsThis role is interviewing immediately, a full JD is available upon application.Closing date for this role is 30.12.24
