Project Manager – Vaccination, Immunisations and Screening ProgrammesNHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care BoardThe post holder will be a member of vaccination, immunisations and screening team and work alongside the Assistant Director and Clinical Lead providing day to day project support and a point of contact for our vaccination teams and GP practices. The role includes planning and day to day support for the team whilst supporting the vaccination delivery programme across Gloucestershire.A key priority will be the continued roll out of the Covid-19 and other vaccination and immunisation programmes and how these existing programmes can be improved across the ICS. This will build on existing good practice, reflecting changes to national policy and guidance and anticipated future delegation of commissioning responsibilities from NHSE to Gloucestershire ICB.Main duties of the jobReporting to the Assistant Director, the postholder will be a member of the Clinical and Quality Directorate and will have recent experience of working across multiple organisations with a successful record of delivery, preferably in vaccinations.We are looking for enthusiasm and self-motivation to embrace the challenges of this role and continue the great work in delivering the Covid vaccination programme.   • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
  • Further training and experience to post graduate diploma level equivalent.
  • Experience in communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project ECDL and a range of computerised software.
  • Previous experience in similar role in public sector.
  • A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it.

Desirable

  • Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management/monitoring.
  • Managerial knowledge, development and experience.
  • Knowledge of business case procedures and process.
