You will be part of a great team of dedicated persons in the region and you will be supported and coached in all aspects to do the very best for our patients.We are looking for a skilled and independent Salesperson with a clear sales focus to manage the Southern Swedish market for our Capital product portfolio targeted for Spine and Neurosurgery clinics. You will be responsible for sales activities, development and implementation of the business strategies in Sweden, while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market. Key focus will be to set solid strategies and plans, and attend customer meetings, organize product’s trials and demonstrations, presentations, attend conventions, forums and meetings to give information of the company’s products. You will report to the Cranial & Spinal Sales Manager for Sweden.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Analyzing the marketplace and developing an effective territory sales strategy
  • Performing all activities to maximize sales within the business
  • Build strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process
  • Train and support customers on Medtronic products, support when required and add value to our service
  • Identifying and reporting upcoming marketing trends and competitive issues
  • Anticipating in all the tenders occurring in the territory
  • Collaborating closely with all relevant Medtronic partners locally and in the Nordic region

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Technical or scientific degree, or education and experience from the healthcare sector
  • 2-5 years sales experience within medical industry in Sweden, with proven consistent performance
  • Fluent in Swedish and good in English with excellent communication skills
  • Driven, with a high level of business acumen and excellent selling as well as planning and organizational skills
  • Team oriented, service minded and self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Valid driver license
  • Flexibility to travel (+40 days) with easy access to university hospitals in southern Sweden
