Do you want to make an important difference for children in vulnerable positions and their families in Brøndby Nord? Do you want to help build and manage a new family experience club from scratch?About the positionWe have just concluded a new 3-year partnership agreement with Brøndby Municipality. This means we are expanding our activities in and together with the municipality and include, among other things, establishment of a brand new Family Experience Club in Brøndby Nord.As a club leader, you get a unique opportunity to lead a brand new volunteer team and help create a strong, committed and safe family experience club in Brøndby Nord. Together with our contact persons in Brøndby Municipality and our new Club and Camp Coordinator, you will have an influence on the development of the facilities, framework and activities for the club.The family experience club must provide children in vulnerable positions and their parents with positive shared experiences that can strengthen their well-being and community. Your role will be to lead the planning and execution of the activities as well as to build a good collaboration with both volunteers, families and professionals.Your primary areas of responsibility will be:

• Build and lead the club’s activities: Together with your team of volunteers and with support from Save the Children and Brøndby Municipality, you will be responsible for creating a number of activities that give children and families good experiences. You will play a central role in shaping the content and direction of the club.
• Recruitment and support of volunteers: You will lead and coordinate a team of volunteers, ensure that they are dressed for their tasks, and create a motivating and safe environment where the volunteers thrive and feel valued.
• Cooperation with the municipality and the coordinator: As a club leader, you will work closely with contact persons in Brøndby Municipality as well as our Club and Camp Coordinator, who will support and guide you in your work. Together, you ensure that the activities are planned and carried out successfully.
• Create a safe and inclusive atmosphere: You will ensure that the club is a safe and inclusive place for both children, parents and the volunteers, where everyone feels welcome and included.

We are looking for a club manager who has:

• Willingness to take responsibility and lead a club where you have a big influence on the structure of the framework and activities.
• An open, engaging and inclusive management style that can motivate both volunteers and participating families.
• Good organizational skills and experience in planning and coordinating activities.
• The ability to create structure and security in a newly started club, where many new elements must fall into place.
• Time and desire to set aside approximately 5-10 hours per month, where you are responsible for planning and running activities as well as participating in meetings with the municipality and Save the Children.

Scope and practical information
As a club leader, you must be able to set aside time to plan and run activities as well as coordinate and support the volunteers.
