They are committed to promoting energy transformation to attain access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy for all and to drive a renewable future.Specializing in wind power, Goldwind leverage strong scientific research innovation and best business practices to take renewable energy utilization efficiency to new heights.We are looking for a Structural Engineer to lead the design and development of Offshore Wind Turbine Towers, ensuring high-quality, site-specific solutions and certification compliance. You will create innovative designs, validate performance, and oversee the development of next-generation towers, foundations, and systems like Tuned Mass Dampers (TMDs). Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, you will ensure seamless integration of designs with environmental conditions, manufacturing, and installation processes. This role is vital to advancing offshore wind technology and delivering innovative structural solutions.Your tasks and primary responsibilities will be as such:

• Elaborate tower and foundation conceptual and detail design proposals
• Leading development of Tower & Foundation new components
• Contribute to WTG and offshore supporting structural design
• Interface with external partners involved during all project phases in offshore wind farm projects e.g. certification bodies, customers, suppliers, test centers etc.
• Internal execution of the engineering tasks required for site suitability and supporting Goldwind proposal (load site specific assessment, site specific offshore foundation, all related to site specific data like wind, wave and meteocean)
• Planning and monitoring of Goldwind activities on the above for on time delivery of Goldwind scope of work.
• Interface coordination and execution of activities at project level to support Project Certification, for primary and secondary steel when needed.
• Development of comprehensive network-strategy between R&D and manufacturing, transport, installation, wind farm engineering, and sales.
• Interaction with other departments and internal partners in GW to achieve the most cost-effective design solutions
• Proactive in constantly improving the processes in order to allow GW to be excellent in tendering and execution phase in terms of reliable and cost optimized solution and time to market.

QualificationsWe expect you to have an MSc or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil Engineering or equivalent.Additionally, we envision that you have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with design and simulation tools such as ANSYS and Creo
• Relevant experience in product development and engineering, at least 3 years.
• Comprehensive knowledge in large structures dynamics, structural design, fatigue and extreme load cases.
• Fluent in English both in writing and orally.
• High level of team working, communication skills and excels in stakeholder collaboration.

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Experience in project management
• General knowledge of manufacturing, construction and maintenance processes
• Experience in test and validation, transport and installation

InformationWe prefer that you can be part of the headquarters in Aarhus, but this is not a requirement.
