If so, our Senior Fuel Manager role could be the perfect opportunity for you!The senior Fuel Manager will manage the complete jet fuel supply chain to SAS three airport hubs (Arlanda, Copenhagen and Oslo). This means procuring fuel (running tenders), contract management and managing the supply chain.Procuring SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) will also be a part of your mission, to support SAS to become a leading airline in sustainable aviation. Challenges You Will Work On:In this exciting and dynamic role, you will oversee the strategic sourcing and management of fuel suppliers. You will tackle the intricate task of negotiating fuel supply contracts, ensuring a consistent and cost-effective fuel supply chain. As the main point of contact for fuel procurement, you will coordinate with various departments, including operations, logistics, and finance. Your ability to collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams will be crucial in managing market fluctuations, sustainability initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Other responsibilities:

  • Follow up and continuously improve overall compliance and supplier performance.
  • Follow up on occurrence reporting.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple fuel categories simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding of fuel procurement, pricing models, and market dynamics
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
  • Proficient in procurement tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • A strategic, process-oriented approach with an analytical mindset and strong drive to achieve results
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • At least 4-5 years background in supply chain, procurement, or energy management, preferably in the fuel or logistics industry
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • As we work in an international setting, besides being fluent in Swedish, you also communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to working from the office 4 days per week
