Hybrid work modelThe Logistics Specialist serves a vital function in the operations team, ensuring that the logistics needs are met in an effective and efficient manner. Logistics Integration Specialists interact with many groups within and outside of the business. They build strong business skills, which can lead to advancement opportunities on several teams including Marketing and Sales, Supplier Solutions or Logistics Integration.Key Responsibilities
- Check 3PL warehouse receiving documents against expected inventory, addressing variances and entering receipts into internal systems.
- Schedule transportation and delivery of inbound shipments with carriers and warehouses.
- Manage inventory adjustments.
- Review and audit provider invoices: checking for accuracy & categorizing against defined areas.
- Notify warehouses of new product information & related documents (MSDS, CoA, etc).
- Arrange and schedule material to be shipped between 3PL warehouses (in-network).
- Create accurate packaging transactions in internal systems.
- Product document management.
- Support the LI / OPS manager on preparing and executing 3PL audits.
- Be the main point of contact for transportation and warehouse providers (all 3PLs) and internal stakeholders. Responsible for tactical relationship and escalation management including claim management.
Desired background and skills
- Degree in science, engineering, business, or logistics.
- Experience in International logistics / customs is preferable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide variety of personality types at various professional skill-levels.
- High level of accuracy, systematic way of working, attention to detail, time management skills are crucial assets.
- Good administrative skills.
- High-energy level paired with curiosity and keen desire to learn and understand business issues in a dynamic, aggressively growing company.
- Proactive, positive team player who is adaptable, flexible, and willing to take on new challenges and risks on a continual basis.
- Goal-oriented with entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
