This role involves working on the DeepOcean fleet of Offshore vessels, including follow up of chartered vessels, owned vessels and monitoring of the market for potential future vessels to enter the fleet. SMD is a global department supporting all regions in DeepOcean.Duties and responsibilities
- Follow up and ensure ship owners delivers on their contracts to DeepOcean. In addition to commercial items a special focus shall be on their technical and operational deliveries.
- Ensuring DeepOcean has the right ships in their fleet together with the wider SMD team.
- Make sure ships owned by DeepOcean is maintained and operated according to expectations.
- Assist projects with vessel assurance.
- Coordinate vessel related items with projects and the wider organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant in industry related role.
- Knowledge of Offshore Subsea Vessels and Walk to work (W2W) vessels and their ways of working.
- Knowledge of marine rules and regulations.
- Experience based both onshore and offshore is preferred.
- Proven ability in planning and executing marine operations in accordance with industry standards.

- Good team player both internally and externally. It is key to be able to have constructive dialogue both with external partners like vessel owners but equally important to be able to do same internally with different regions and projects.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage time to accomplish tasks and achieve goals.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to proactively and independently take action to achieve goals, identify opportunities, and solve challenges.
- Attention to detail.
