To achieve this, we’re looking for a talented Tech Lead to guide its development and drive innovation.What you will be doingAs a Tech Lead at Dibber, you’ll play a key role in shaping the development of a product that directly impacts the lives of educators, caregivers, and children. Your day-to-day will involve leading a dynamic team, tackling scalability challenges, and driving innovation to make sure the Dibber App remains user-friendly, reliable, and secure.
- Technical leadership will be an important part of your day-to-day. You will drive the technical direction of the Dibber App, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- You’ll design and maintain a robust system architecture that aligns with company goals and supports rapid user growth.
- Leading and mentoring developers will be central to your responsibilities, fostering collaboration and upholding high standards for code quality.
- Managing app monitoring, addressing bugs, and optimizing performance to ensure a seamless experience for our users.
- By staying ahead of technology trends, you’ll introduce innovations and develop features that address user needs and enhance the platform.
- Your work will shape the platform’s roadmap, directly influencing its future and impacting thousands of users globally.
- The role offers the freedom to select the best backend technologies, implement creative solutions, and make critical technical decisions aligned with your expertise.
- Some travel will be part of this role, offering opportunities to connect with teams and stakeholders in different locations.
What we’re looking for
- Backend development experience, ideally within a microservice architecture.
- Proficiency in Java (v.17+)
- Understanding of Javascript and front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Advanced skills in AWS and PostgreSQL. As well as, hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions and DevOps practices.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring development teams.
- Strong communication skills to align with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
It would also be great (but not necessary) to have experience with frontend frameworks such as React or React Native, combined with a background in B2C environments emphasizing scalability and user experience.What we offer you:
