Carla is growing at the speed of light, and we are currently looking for a Commercial Development Manager to join our growing Commercial function. It consists of teams connected to sales, purchasing and valuation but also commercial development. To succeed in this role, you must love numbers and also possess the ability to work with complex and cross functional projects.Your mission at Carla
Carla’s mission is to make more people drive electric cars. Everything we do is built upon combining customer obsession, technology, and physical infrastructure. Your mission will be to support our CCO and the commercial teams to make the best possible commercial decisions based on data. You will also drive high impactful projects cross-functionally with other teams such as Product & Tech, Operations and Marketing to mention a few. You will report directly to our CCO and Co-founder.Concrete examples of work tasks connected to responsibilities:
- Set, keep track of and follow up on purchasing and sales goals, make sure they are aligned with other teams
- Secure accurate numbers and material to business decision meetings
- Recurring analytics work connected to purchasing, selling and valuation but also to our partner service business (B2B)
- Ensure we have the best possible processes, tools and way of working within purchasing, selling and valuation.
- Secure we have the right capacity and staffing plans within the commercial teams
- Drive and participate in commercial projects within purchasing, selling and valuation, with high impact on Carla’s business. The projects may be related to pricing strategies, margins and/or process development.
The ideal candidate has:
- Up to 2 years experience from a high-end consultancy firm
- Academic examination or university degree, preferably in business, economics and/or data
- Highly skilled in Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience working with project management, data and analytics in a commercial environment. It’s very relevant if you also have skills within Big Query/SQL
- Data driven, always with thoughtful and methodical approach, experienced in field of data analytics, dynamic pricing or similar
- Capable of working autonomously and proactively
- Able to interpret and present data and driven solution to any given problem
- Strong team-player with ability to work effectively across different functions
- Target-oriented with a precise approach to all challenges
