  • Manage IT Assets: Oversee the management and control of IT assets, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of issues.
  • System Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and backups of IT systems to ensure reliability and security.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop an IT support team of 3-4 members, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure IT operations adhere to industry regulations and data protection standards, with appropriate security measures in place.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored support and solutions.
  • Project Management: Plan, allocate resources, and lead IT projects from initiation to completion.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 8+ years of proven IT support experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Healthcare or retail industry experience is desirable but not essential. Indirect experience from working with service providers or third-party suppliers is also valuable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in network management, system administration, and common IT support tools/software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex IT issues.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience working in environments that operate outside of a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule is highly preferred.
  • A willingness to work in and support such environments is essential.

About the Role:This role ensures that clients, including pharmacies and suppliers, have access to reliable and secure IT systems to support their operations. It also involves maintaining robust internal systems, contributing to the smooth running of operations.Desirable Attributes:
