The team is dynamic and dedicated, with team members located in Oslo. Our team is responsible for the vessel operation of two CLV vessels and the third is to be delivered Q 2 2026 and barges. The workplace is in Oslo, and you will be reporting to the Vessel Operations Manager and Fleet Manager in G&T.GETTING A FLYING START
To succeed in the Vessel Operations Department, you have extensive experience from the marine offshore industry. You have experience with managing supply chains, procurement, and logistics. You have worked in companies that are project-driven and have activities related to supply chain requirements. You have experience working domestically or internationally. Ideally, your experience is related to interconnectors, wind farms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects. You have experience with supply chain management and have strong negotiation skills through your natural leadership and organizational abilities.HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
You will work in cross-functional teams as a Supply Chain Engineer on supply chain management with a focus on procurement, materials planning, and logistics operations. To do this, you will manage the supply chain process, source competitive bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee manufacturing and distribution processes. With your strategic planning and advanced scheduling skills, you will ensure the timely delivery of materials and spares. In addition, you will be comfortable working with various departments to optimize the supply chain process. You may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in technical improvements relevant to our department. You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.YOUR STARTING POINTDegree in Supply Chain Management or a related field7-10 years of relevant experience in the marine offshore industryWorking knowledge of SAP, T-Master, and AribaInventory management experience is a mustExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to organize and prioritize own workFluent in English, oral and written; Norwegian is a plusOUR GROWTH CULTURE
