If you answered yes, we have an opportunity for you.We are looking for a Market Insights Analyst to strengthen our team!Market Insights Analyst is part of the Group Marketing team and supports our businesses’ strategic marketing with market research, insights analysis, Customer Net Promoter Score surveys, and business development tasks. This role is crucial in driving Ahlstrom’s growth by fostering a customer-centric, market-driven approach. You’ll support our strategic marketing initiatives, manage our customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) program and other customer surveys, deliver industry and trend intelligence, and track critical KPIs to measure and optimize our strategic initiatives. Collaborating closely with business units, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, providing actionable insights that support key decisions and enable growth.In this role as a Market Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Divisions and Business Units with strategic marketing workstreams, from market definition to analysis of the knowledge gap, and supporting with acquiring relevant market insights, and define where and how to win
- Running Customer Net Promoter Score (CNPS) survey and related analysis, and supporting with other customer surveys, focusing especially on data quality, analyzing conclusions and driving next steps.
- Leading market intelligence efforts eg macroeconomics and competitor/customer financial analysis and share results
- Coordinating internal (e.g., Business Unit) and external contributors (e.g., external data and market research providers) to deliver timely and fact-based insights
- Supporting Strategy team and Executive Management in other business development and ad-hoc analysis
- Developing and improving Ahlstrom’s process to acquire and share market insights
What do you bring to this role to have a meaningful impact?
- 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, project management, strategy, or similar
- Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Management Engineering, or similar
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, with high attention to detail and rigor
- Capable of seeing the big picture, providing practical insights from data together with strong business acumen
- Strong project management skills
- Taking initiative and working well both independently and as a team member
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) – can communicate key insights and business recommendations to support management decision making
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with more advanced analytical tools (e.g., Power Bi or statistical tools)
- Fluent in English
