As a Technical Software Architect at Danfoss, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our products. You will be responsible for making design decisions, establishing workflow practices, and ensuring consistency across development teams. We are seeking a professional with a strong background in PC tools development and a knack for translating concepts into actionable plans to join our team in Helsinki, Finland.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop product specifications with a focus on system integration and feasibility.
  • Participate in hands-on development to ensure design consistency with architecture.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate technology and workflows for software development.
  • Restructure legacy products and develop future-proof concepts.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Effectively communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team.
  • Ensure software meets all quality, security, and modifiability requirements.
  • Collaborate with the product owners to define the technical platform and roadmap to portfolio goals.
  • Work closely with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for existing software or applications.

Background & SkillsThe ideal candidate has experience in the following areas:

  • Experience as a lead developer, technical product owner or software architect.
  • Proficiency in software development and coding in various languages and operating systems (C++, .NET, Visual Basic, C#, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
  • Familiarity with UML and other modeling methods.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, Visual Basic
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
  • Structured way of working and strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (English)
  • MSc in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
