Our client, an international company based in Geneva, is looking for a Legal Manager or Senior Legal Manager to expand its team of M&A and Corporate lawyers.The position will assist the Business Development team with M&A, joint venture, and public tender projects and support the company generally on corporate, corporate governance, and corporate-level dispute matters.Missions:-Draft, review, and interpret legal documentation for M&A, joint venture, and other transactions.-Support the negotiation of contractual documentation for M&A, joint venture, and other transactions and advise on the degree of legal risk associated with them.-Provide pragmatic, business-minded legal advice on issues identified in the context of transactions and reorganizations.-Support contract approval and documentation management processes.-Develop contract templates for transactions.-Assist with gathering and reviewing documents for corporate reorganizations and regulatory notifications.-Provide advice on potential and materialized disputes and gather relevant facts for progressing them.-Work closely with other functions in the company, including finance, tax, insurance, compliance, and competition, to ensure their interests are taken into account in contracting.-Coordinate the use of outside legal advisers.Prepared to travel worldwide from time to time.EXPERIENCE-University degree in law or equivalent nationally approved qualification.-Admitted to the Bar (past or present) with 6-12 years of experience post-qualification in a law firm. In-house experience is an advantage.-Substantial practical experience in cross-border M&A and corporate work. Experience in public-private partnerships, public tenders, and port concessions is an advantage.-Knowledge of English law – including UK qualification – is an advantage.-drafting and negotiation skills.-Ability to proactively assist internal clients and provide innovative solutions.-Ability to work independently while keeping others informed.-Ability to work well under pressure, to respect deadlines, and to assume responsibilities.-Prior work experience in maritime and terminal sectors is an advantage.-Native-level speaking and writing skills in English are required. Other main European languages are an advantage.-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.#LI-AB1#LI-Hybrid
