Our diversity and international environment offer a solid foundation for meeting the most pressing needs of our clients.The Corporate Intelligence team is looking for analysts with Chinese language skills to join our growing practice. We are a team of investigators and researchers helping our clients identify, manage, and mitigate compliance, reputational, regulatory, ESG, and geopolitical risks and opportunities with a global ambit.We work on behalf of public and private sector clients from industries such as renewable energy, biotechnology, asset management, construction, retail, banking and finance, engineering, and oil and gas.In this role you will contribute to a broad range of research and analysis projects across issues such as integrity, compliance, and ESG.We are looking for team members who are curious, open-minded, analytical, and seeking to learn and acquire new skills and knowledge. In addition to excellent Chinese language skills, the candidates should have exceptional English communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Typical tasks in an analyst position might include:

  • Conducting research across commercial databases, open sources, and media to identify key information pertinent to investigations.
  • Investigative research using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodology
  • Analyzing human source reports in conjunction with investigative research
  • Leveraging public record sources to identify and analyze key information
  • Writing in-depth narrative reports outlining relevant findings for clients, using nuance, precision, and careful consideration of the facts
  • Engagement with clients on reports
  • Internal improvement projects
  • Maintaining and adding to existing source landscape
  • Participation in proposals and business development activities

We are especially interested in hearing from prospective candidates who fulfill the following requirements:

  • Excellent research skills
  • Exceptional proficiency in written English
  • Fluency in Chinese
  • International experiences – e.g. work, or study abroad
  • Experience from responsible investment, compliance, geopolitical research, ESG-related work, investigative journalism, consulting, law enforcement, or intelligence agencies
  • Master’s degree – for example in international relations, security studies, political science, international development, anthropology, area or language studies, etc.

Relevant work experience is not a prerequisite for the analyst position as training will be provided. More senior candidates may be considered if they possess relevant work experience.
