Application Development Manager – Exciting Opportunity in the Glass Interlayer IndustryOur client is an international privately held chemical company with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing high-quality Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) film for architectural laminated safety glass. Our client has built a strong reputation for consistent quality and excellent technical support in the industry. As our client continues to expand, we are looking for a highly experienced Application Development Manager to join our team in Mechelen, Belgium.Benefits:– Opportunity to become the leading expert in the Architectural Glazing market segment– Work with a dynamic and diverse team of experts in all disciplines to propose innovative solutions to customers– Be part of an international company with a strong presence in the industryResponsibilities:– Drive the adoption of our client’s interlayer in architectural glazing applications by providing application development support throughout the value chain– Translate customer and industry needs into product opportunities and work with the Technology team to turn new ideas into commercial products– Train the value chain players and customer-facing colleagues on the technical and economic benefits of our client’s portfolioRequirements:– Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or related field (PhD preferred)– Strong technical background and a passion for the architectural glass industry– Strong interest in application development and product innovation– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a deep network in the industry– Fluent in English, other European language skills are appreciated– Motivated and able to work independently and in cross-functional teams– Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to the USADo you have any disability or condition that could affect you in the application and interview process?
