As a Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience in an enterprise with high exposure to US corporate culture. This is a great opportunity for a highly-motivated individual seeking a challenge, who has the drive and ambition to become a leader within the finance/accounting function.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrating appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and applying them on a day-to-day basis;
- Recurring analysis (e.g. sales analysis, cost analysis, etc.);
- Assisting in the month end closing process (e.g. posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, tying cash accounts, preparing expense accruals, etc.);
- Providing financial and analytical support for the operations team (e.g. monthly KPI, analysis of production hours, labour utilization, inventory levels and aging, cost-out etc.);
- Providing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of results against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making towards achieve the budget;
- Interfacing with operations, purchasing, sales, and engineering to understand, analyze, and improve the business;
- Assisting with annual stock verification;
- Ad-hoc work relating to financial analysis, variance analysis, etc;
- Accounts Payable: invoice and payments processing;
- Accounts Receivable: invoice generation and credit control;
- Continuous improvement in financial processes.
QualificationsSkills, Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other Business-related studies;
- Fluent in both Swedish and English;
- Strong knowledge in MS Office products, especially MS Excel;
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to interact with Senior Leadership;
- Professionalism and high level of discretion are required;
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and passion to learn and grow;
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
Desirable Skills, Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in Finance or Accounting is desirable, but not essential;
- Experience with SAP is advantageous;
- Interest in financial modeling;
- Interest in manufacturing and industrial environments.
