Metso Smelting business develops and delivers technology for the processing of raw-material into metals used in everyday life and especially those that play a vital role in the electrification of society. We in Smelting Digital supply offering for our customers to improve the sustainability of these metals, through creating digital solutions, e.g., intelligent sensors, simulators and digital twins and advanced process control applications.As a Summer Trainee, Smelting Digital, you will:
- Explore how tech is used in the metals industry
- Get tasked with your own summer project designed to your capabilities
- Share what you have accomplished so that we can also learn from you
Who you are
- Higher degree study background for example in Automation, IT, Process Technology, Process Metallurgy, Metals Processing, Industrial Engineering, or Customer Experience (CX).
- You are able to take ownership of your projects and drive them proactively
- You have an end-user-driven mindset and the necessary IT skills, which we hope you also bring forth in your application
- You have fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other languages are considered an asset
