From our modern offices in the City of Umeå, working within Nasdaq’s highly successful Sell-Side Market Technology Product Management Team, we are looking to hire a talented and eager individual to contribute to building the Nasdaq Risk Platform, a modern multi-asset class Risk Management SaaS platform supporting customers globally. The scope and title of the role will be adjusted based on a candidate’s experience.The Nasdaq Risk Platform provides a range of execution and clearing risk management solutions for Banks & Brokers to minimize exposure and optimize balance sheet liquidity across global markets & trading environments. A combination of financial risk and regulatory obligations drive requirements for market participants to bolster risk management capabilities. However, for CROs and Risk Managers responsible for managing risk across the entire trading and clearing landscape – in real-time – presents challenges. The Nasdaq Risk Platform has the depth of features and technical extensibility to help customers overcome and consolidate risk tech legacy estate challenges.You will:Participate in analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts in support of product development engineering.Work closely with the Product Strategy and Sales teams to identify market needs and appropriate product solutions.Interface with engineers, designers, suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications.Participate on project/program teams from design to delivery of fully developed solutions that are ready for customer use.Support the Product Management team in a variety of capacities including but not limited toRoadmap planningBacklog refinement and prioritizationTesting & Quality AssuranceCreation of Release Notes and other documentationDemo preparationAct as a funnel for product development ideas and progress these ideas to realize commercial opportunities.Lead or participate on project/program teams from design to delivery of fully developed products that are ready for customer use.Provide input into project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget. Participate and contribute during Sprint Retrospectives.Work with the Product Strategy and Sales teams to flesh out Strategic Initiatives and execute until deliveryBalance priorities across the long-term strategic roadmap (revenue growth, cost optimization) and shorter-term tactical drivers (product enhancements, bug fixes, customer onboarding, support tools, etc.)Work within an Agile Software Development processWork with customers to address needs and appropriate product solutions.Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders.Lead or participate in the analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts in support of new product development.Create or update operational and user documentation including release notes and detailed functional specificationsRequired Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business/Finance or similar, or equivalent work experience.Passion and aspiration to build a career in Product Management and/or Quantitative Risk including a desire to grow the role beyond the initial roles and responsibilities1-5 years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Graduated with or working towards a Master’s degree in Computing Science, Mathematics or FinanceAcademic or Professional experience in any or all the following:Product Management, QA or Business Analysis for a SaaS and/or Risk PlatformProgrammingCapital MarketsExchange Traded Derivatives and/or OTC cleared productsCCP Initial Margin MethodologiesMarket & Credit Risk e.g. VaR, Stress VaR, Stress Testing & Scenario AnalysisRegulatory Risk (SEC 15C3, PRR, SA-CCR, FRTB)Cross-asset valuation for ETD and OTC productsTreasuryFunding OptimisationArtificial IntelligenceSQLPower BIProduct DesignWhat we offer:Together with an ambitious and dynamic business agenda, we offer continuous professional development, a modern and inspiring office with myriad amenities, the opportunity to work independently, and to become a trusted partner and key stakeholder in a growing product line.
