What you need to knowOur Westmeath based client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.The client is a well-established cost and project management service provider for Ireland and the UK.This position is in integral in overseeing junior quantity surveyors and overall project management. Providing clients with best service possible.Please note that this position is a permanent position on a daytime, Monday to Friday basis.Your new jobKey Duties & Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projectsPrepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentsMonitor project costs and manage cash flow, ensuring projects are completed within budgetAdvise on contractual matters, including procurement, risk management, and change controlReview and analyse project performance, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standardsMentor and support junior quantity surveyors, providing guidance and development opportunitiesManage client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and reportingWhat are we looking for?Degree in Quantity Surveying/ related discipline (RICS accredited)QS experience in a consultancy service/project management focused companyStrong knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and commercial managementProven experience with a range of sectors including bringing projects to a successfulconclusionClient focussed, ability to service clients’ expectations to its fullest and maintain confidentialityStrong team player with ability to work cross functionally on complex projectsKnowledgeable and proficient on software such as cubit and excelApply for this job now by sending in a Word version of your CV or get in touch with Eugene at or alternatively by phone at 0874075822.By applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
