Wilhelmsen Port Services (WPS) is looking for a Business Development Analyst to join our global team, driving growth in ways that go beyond traditional business development. If you’re excited about creating new revenue streams and building strategic partnerships that redefine what’s possible in the port services industry, we want to meet you!What You’ll Be Doing:From Idea to Reality:Some projects stay on paper—yours won’t. You’ll own selected projects from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring every step is aligned for success. From ideation to monetization, you’ll be hands-on, managing the early phases of new partnerships and business initiatives until they scale. Be ready to embrace a world of variety, participating in sales meetings, coordinating operations, financing and marketing cooperating closely with these functions in WPS.Driving New Growth and Partnerships:You’ll work on identifying, evaluating, and bringing new opportunities to life. This means scouting for potential partnerships and business development initiatives, assessing their impact, and building a pipeline of ideas that can shape the future of WPS.Champion of New Ideas:Be the go-to person for local teams and partners, guiding them on new business initiatives and championing fresh ideas. You’ll help build a culture of innovation and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to WPS.What we are looking for:Excellent academic credentials with consistent track record1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a top tier consultancy firmStrong commercial mind-setExceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsPrevious maritime and/or B2B service industry exposure would be a plus (but not mandatory)Ability to travel as some international travel may be requiredWhat you need to succeed in the role:You’re an influencer, able to rally teams and drive positive change both internal and externallyA self-starter at heart, strong work ethic, curious with a desire to learn and that don’t shy away from challenging the status quoYou’re comfortable working autonomously and driving impact within a multi-layered stakeholder landscape and global multi-cultural teamsDeadlines don’t phase you, and you’re ready to go the extra mile when required to create superior resultsExcellent command of MS Office toolkit.
