**Please ensure you download, save and read the Job Specification. **Location of the Post:Community Healthcare East/ Cúram Sláinte Pobail ThoirThere is currently one permanent, whole-time vacancy available in Public Health Laboratory, Cherry Orchard Hospital, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10.A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Medical Scientist, Senior from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.Purpose of the Post:The purpose of the post is to be a member of the senior laboratory management team, be responsible for the quality of work under their supervision and carry out their duties in accordance with laboratory policy. Key posts within the laboratory, such as quality manager, technical manager and LIMS administrator are usually filled by senior medical scientists.The senior medical scientist will be expected to contribute to development of services from both the clinical (under ISO15189) and the food and water testing services (under ISO17025).
