Typically, they deliver a range of projects from £100,000 – £10m and this could include anything from small earthwork projects, kerb realignments, right the way through to large infrastructure schemes and larger heavy civils projectsThe RoleReporting into the Operations Manger, you will be responsible to plan, programme and deliver a project, in the first instance, a £9M infrastructure scheme. You will take full ownership and be responsible for the day to day delivery of the project in terms of cost, value, schedule, safety, quality, environment and stakeholdersOther duties include:
- Understand and able to work with company systems and processes and put an effective information management system in place
- Involved and able to guide decision making to ensure that decisions taken on the project are robust and meet project goals and objectives
- Understand risks and evaluates options for mitigation and control.
- Build working relationships with Client, Supply Chain and project staff
What you need?Ideally, you will be a No.1 Project Manager, experienced in delivering highways projects of a similar value.
