Job description

The Security Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and technical support of electronic security systems. Key duties include the implementation of Intrusion Alarm Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control and integration of different security technologies. This professional works in both the planning and execution phases, performing system design, physical installation of equipment , cable routing, device programming, operational testing and trouble shooting. They also provide preventative and corrective technical support to ensure the functionality and reliability of the implemented systems. The role also involves technical customer service, system updates, reading and interpreting technical support to ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations. Proficiency in IP networks, electronics and system integration is essential along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
