Job description

We are looking to recruit a Cover Cleaning Operative on a zero hours contract to support and cover working across various sites in the Erith (DA8) area.There is potential for this role to go permanent.

• Monday to Friday
• £12.21 per hour for the hours worked

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Core Responsibilities – Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
• Hoovering of carpeted areas
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
