Vaattunki Wilderness Resort, located right next to the Arctic Circle Hiking Area, is a destination with a strong history. In summer 2025, the resorts concept and brand will undergo a complete renewal. The new Vaattunki will open its doors to travelers for the winter season 2025, offering a more immersive and high-quality experience than ever before. Our resort combines premium accommodation, an inspiring restaurant experience, and stunning surroundings in the heart of Laplands nature.We are now looking for a RESTAURANT MANAGER for the Vaattunki Wilderness Resort restaurant.As the Restaurant Manager, youll be part of an international team serving primarily international travelers staying at the resort and other individual and group diners during the winter season. In the summer, the clientele shifts to domestic corporate and private event guests. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the overall restaurant operations and managing the restaurant staff. This includes onboarding and training staff, planning work shifts, managing inventory and orders, developing services and customer experience in cooperation with other department heads, and ensuring high service quality.What we expect from you:
– Previous work experience in a restaurant managerial position
– Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills
– Good organizational and stress management abilities
– Valid hygiene passport and alcohol serving license
– Fluent English skillsConsidered an advantage:
– Previous experience with industry-standard systems
– Additional languages such as Finnish, French, Spanish, or ItalianWhat we offer you:
