Matrix Recruitment is hiring an Environmental Project Manager for our client in KildareFull time/Permanent job/ Hybrid workingYou’ll play a key role in planning renewable energy projects (think: wind farms, solar parks), making sure all environmental studies, reports, and permissions are in place so these projects can move forward smoothly.Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting senior project managers in preparing planning applications and environmental reports.
- Coordinating surveys and assessments to understand the environmental impact of projects.
- Staying up to date with Irish planning laws and helping the team respond to any changes.
- Helping with public consultation by supporting events and communication with local communities.
- Making sure everything we do follows health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What You Need:
- Level 8 degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering or a similar subject (a master’s degree is a bonus).
- 3+ years of experience working on environmental planning, ideally in renewable energy.
- Understands how environmental assessments and planning applications work.
- Is used to working with different teams – engineers, planners, scientists, etc.
- Has knowledge of Irish planning regulations, especially related to major infrastructure projects.
- Has experience writing or coordinating environmental reports like EIAR or AA/NIS.
