As a Senior Data Engineer at Avaus, you’ll be part of multidisciplinary client teams, likely in an Agile environment. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients’ business and technical stakeholders to understand the intricacies of complex data solutions. Your core responsibilities include designing and developing data processing solutions using various cloud vendors’ services. You’ll also likely engage in the following:Contribution to feature development from inception to deliveryDesign and development of data solutions using leading cloud platformsETL and data analysis for providing valuable insights to our clientsClose collaboration with colleagues in data science, marketing automation, and strategy.Who are you?

In addition to your personality, we’d also like you to possess:A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, or physics, or a few years of relevant work experienceProficiency in one or more programming languages like Python, TypeScript or JavaExperience working with Cloud platforms like GCP or AzureProficiency in SQL and data modellingExperience in report and dashboard developmentFluent in Finnish and English. This is a permanent position with a 6 months’ probation period, based at our Helsinki office at Albertinkatu 25. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer a hybrid remote workplace and you will report to Head of Tech, Data & Analytics, Mikael Montonen.Already feel like one of us?
